Death is just another path, one that we all must take. The gray rain-curtain of this world rolls back and all turns to silver glass
Tolkien

If there is one thing I have learned in life it is that things never really end. They are all just a part of a bigger wave. The flow of life. Even the things that do end, don’t really. They just transition over, and float into something else.

I believe that there is always an adventure waiting for you around the corner. Wether you are pushed around it by some dark twist of fate, or you take the leap faith due to uninspiring surrounding, it will take you places. It might be places you don’t want to go, but if you stop to think, you will realize that they are just a part of the bigger picture. And you have the choice: do you want to paint it with unterstandment and acceptance, or sorrow and regrett?

Like my best friend said to me: Don’t worry my friend, there’s another day waiting for this day to end.

After sixteen months and about two houndred blog entries, I no longer recognize myself in this blog.

I remember writing in a blog entry, earlier this year, that I felt a change coming. This year has brought nothing but changes. Some good and some bad, but overall it has changed me. I’ve been found in so many ways, and I finally know who I really am, and this blog does not represent that

Creativity is my life. To create is my business, and I’d still like to share that with others. So I’m starting a different kind of blog that is more me, and not just a collection of inspiration and sentiments. It’s a blog that will show more of my personal life and the important people in it, together with some fun and creative projects. If anyone is interested in following me on the journey, the new blog is called Kodiakbird

Be seeing you

Her er ditt vern mot vold,
her er ditt sverd:
troen på livet vårt,
menneskets verd

Krig er forakt for liv.
Fred er å skape.
Kast dine krefter inn:
døden skal tape!

Da synker våpnene
maktesløs ned!
Skaper vi menneskeverd
skaper vi fred.

“Recycling” old photos is one of the few things that keeps the photographer in me alive. It seems she is depressed and under challenged at the moment, but I’m hoping that moving to new surrounding and a new beginning in life will reawaken la passione within

The strangest thought hit me the other day.. I don’t have enough green dresses. I am in need of more green dresses! How have I lived all these years without realising the lack of emerald coloured garnments in my closet?

The colour green, which is most certainly my favourite colour, symbolises new beginnings, and unbreakable bonds. Prosperity and nostalgia. Nature and charming imperfections. It is also a colour that awakens my soul as well as it calms my thoughts, and keeps me grounded and aware of what’s important in life.

I need more green in my life. And I’ll start by buying myself that dress.
